SYDNEY METRO DELIVERIES

CUT OFF TIME - Delivery cut off time 8.30am

DELIVERY CHARGES - $8.50 for all deliveries within our stated delivery areas.

BOX DEPOSIT – each order will be charged a refundable box deposit of $5.00. When box is returned (either immediately or next delivery) we’ll give you a crisp $5.00 note.


SYDNEY SUBURBS NOT COVERED BY GDS DRIVERS

Orders to these suburbs will be delivered by an independent courier.

CUT OFF TIME - 8.30am Monday for Tuesday delivery or by arrangement. Please note there will be no deliveries when Monday is a public holiday.

DELIVERY CHARGES - $18.50 for all deliveries. This charge includes polystyrene box and ice. Please note box is not able to be collected when using an independent courier.


INTERSTATE and INTRASTATE DELIVERIES

Orders to these areas; Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Southern Highlands, Central Coast, Wollongong, Newcastle will be delivered by an independent courier

OTHER DELIVERY INFORMATION

SPECIAL DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS – if we don’t receive specific delivery instructions we will leave your order at your front door. Unfortunately, we can take no responsibility for missing orders once we have delivered.

HOW LONG WILL MEALS LAST OUT OF THE FREEZER?- up to 7 hours or overnight when packed with wet and dry ice.

Order not received on expected day
We are very good at on-time deliveries on the day you requested. Therefore if you haven't received your order when expected please call us on (02) 9905 0266 or 1300 131 070 so we can ensure that the delivery gets to you asap.

For interstate deliveries we use an independent courier service. If your delivery hasn't turned up, please don't assume it will be delivered next week as we would have phone you to advise you missed the cut off.

If you forget to advise us your delivery hasn't arrived on the designated day we cannot be held responsible.

Live in a security unit and will not be home
Please make arrangements for our driver or courier to;

  • buzz a neighbour to let us in so we can leave your order at your front door,
  • access to your garage,
  • or provide alternative instructions.

What is the condition of purchase?
The customer will bear all risk in respect of the meals once they have been delivered as per your instructions, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to delivery. Gourmet Dinner Service will not be responsible for any loss or deterioration which occurs subsequent to delivery (due to non-timely collection or otherwise).

Can I pick up the order myself?
Meals can be collected from our kitchen at Brookvale, Sydney from Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.

How are the meals delivered?
GDS Driver deliveries: All orders will be packed in a polystyrene insulated box.
Courier deliveries: All orders will be packed in a sealed polystyrene insulated box filled with wet ice.
Interstate deliveries: All orders will be packed in a sealed polystyrene insulated box filled with a combination of wet and dry ice.

Do I need to tell you all my details each time I order?
When you register you provide us with your address and contact details as well as delivery instructions. These are displayed when you place your order. If these details have changed you will need to make these changes. Credit card details will need to be entered each time as we do not keep these on file.

What if I’m not home to take delivery?
Leave special instructions where to leave your order. Your order will be packed to keep your meals at the correct temperature for approximately 7 hours.
