Leave to defrost in fridge overnight.

Tips
Pasta is always easy to add to and you may wish to add extra vegetables like peas (pureed or unpureed) and mix through.

Hiding vegetables
Sauce helps disguise vegetables and we have roasted and mashed the pumpkin to mix through the sauce. The spinach has been chopped finely so it’s not clearly visible.

Game Time
Memory Game - Put a couple of items (your choice of fruit and vegetables, kitchen utensils, toys etc) on a tray and let your kids study it for a couple of minutes. Then without them seeing remove one item and then they have to guess which item is missing. A variation is to cover the tray with a cloth and you have to remember what was on the tray. Depending on the ages of your children will depend how many items and how long you leave the them to study the tray.
