Use our prepared kids meals when; you're too busy too cook, don't feel like cooking two meals, going out for dinner and leaving the kids with a babysitter or craving a really spicy curry.

Why it’s good for kids
Kids love using their fingers to eat and also like adding food to food so they should have fun adding the mince and noodles into a lettuce cup and wrapping up to eat.

2. TIPS FOR MUM

Busy Mums
Leave to defrost in fridge overnight.

Tips
Use Iceberg lettuce to serve as it is kid friendly.  The easiest way to make a lettuce cup is to core the lettuce and run under water so the lettuce fills with water and gently pull the leaves apart.

Hiding vegetables
No hidden vegetables, but it’s a great way to get kids to eat lettuce by wrapping the mince in the lettuce cup. You may wish to add extra vegetables like baby corn, capsicum or broccoli.

 

 

3. MAKING IT FUN

Creating a Scene
Serve yourself. Trim iceberg lettuce into small cups and place in a bowl. Place Peking Panda in separate bowl.

Game Time
Rainbow Foods - Ask you child to pick their favourite colour and then see if they can name any foods that is that colour. When you have exhausted that colour try another colour.
