Alongside the beef, the other hero of this dish is the caramelised onion which delivers depth, richness and sweetness to the gravy. Topped with a crispy pastry lid, this pie is a family winner. Preparation

Allow defrost in fridge. Remove lid and heat in heated 170c oven for approx 35 minutes. To cook from frozen, remove lid, place in preheated 150c oven for approx 1.5 hours.
