Braised chicken w mushrooms + bacon

Coq au Vin is a traditional French dish in which the chicken is cooked in a rich red wine. Our version uses dry white wine instead to create a more subtle flavour that allows all the ingredients to shine. As Julia Child says " It’s a rich, slow dish, built in layers of flavour". Enjoy with Parmesan Mash and green beans or a crusty baguette and of course a big glass of chardonnay.
